Increase efficiency, enhance reimbursements and reduce costs

Quick payment

MDoffice integrates billing into the rest of the system. To get the largest possible reimbursements, the system uses validation rules to catch missing or unacceptable data. It calculates patient and insurance responsibilities automatically, telling you when the claim was created and for how much, when it was last claimed, and which insurance company is responsible.

Claim Drawer
Click to view the Claim Drawer You use the interactive browsing of the Claim Drawer to find, view and select complete details of any claim. The drawer displays a scrolling list of claims for all patients plus information you need to locate quickly any claim. When you create a claim, the Claim Drawer displays it along with filtered queries, making claim and billing data easier to manage and control.

Claim Services
Click to view the Claim Services You enter multiple CPT procedures and charge details in the Claim Services tab—one line for each procedure performed. You can easily assign referring physicians, referrals and authorizations to individual claims. Once you’ve entered all procedural transactions for a visit, it’s easy to highlight, edit, delete, or add additional charges to a claim. You use treatment and diagnosis code tables that are available on line plus simple validation rules to reduce denials and get greater reimbursements.

Claim Case
Click to view the Claim Case A case describes a patient’s major current or recurring problem or ailment. The Claim Case tab holds data you need to create insurance claims and track a complete episode of care. You can group charges for specific ailments and conditions within an account or enter documentation required by HCFA. You can enter case-specific information on a patient-per-claim basis after you post charges.

Claim Notes
Click to view the Claim Notes The Claim Notes tab organizes notes and comments for billing and payment accounting. It’s a convenient place to store different types of per-claim billing and reimbursement notes and reminders. It can also show internal comments—charges, payments or adjustments—to help track each claim. You can use Claim Notes to more fully describe and document claim transactions and to automatically track and document procedure and diagnoses codes.

Claim Ledger
Click to view the Claim Ledger The Claim Ledger tab gives you a detailed spreadsheet so you can see at a glance all billing and financial transactions created for a claim—procedure, charges, payments, write-offs, and adjustments. You get current patient, insurance and claim balances. MDoffice recalculates the totals as soon as you post charges or payments. You can check dates of service, line item payments within claims, and a patient’s co-pays. The Claim Ledger tab gives you a complete audit trail.

Claim Ticklers
Click to view the Claim Ticklers The Claim Ticklers tab gives you the status of all tasks related to a claim and shows the major billing events in the life of that claim. It shows the progress of reimbursement and tracks the transfers of responsibility until the claim is paid or written off. You know when the claim was created, when it was billed, and to whom. This includes all rebilling, rejections or denials until the claim is paid, transferred to the patient, or written off in full.
