Superbill

It’s easy to capture chares entered at the point of service by creating custom encounter forms with billable diagnosis (ICD) and procedure (CPT) codes. These paper superbills become electronic forms for entering claims easily, improving billing workflow and protecting you against claim rejections—saving you money and giving you the highest possible reimbursements.

MDoffice allows you to create multiple paper encounter forms. You can create and print on-demand superbill forms for individual providers with the billing codes they normally use, plus specialty-specific forms, and even visit-specific forms such as for Workers' Compensation. MDoffice creates an economical control form for your practice.

You use your personal procedure and diagnosis codes to create superbill forms, and you can set descriptions the way you and your colleagues like to see them. You can insert blank lines, code group or category headings and footers. Since the system can capture multiple charges, you can create electronic superbills linked to more than one diagnostic code, resulting in fewer lost charges and faster, more accurate billing.

The built-in paper superbills include patient alerts and balance information to prompt staff to collect money due when the patient is in the office. The top of each paper form contains the clinic, patient, insurance and last visit information, allowing you to identify patients easily and bill them correctly. Electronic superbills automatically fill in a patients demographic information.

When a print shop designs and prints encounter forms, they’re expensive and often contain mistakes. MDoffice uses your office printer for a fraction of the cost and you can change the design as often as you want. You can print them in batches or when a patient walks through the door. Saving just a couple of pennies per visit adds up.

MDoffice forms use the linked procedure and ICD databases, and you can set descriptions any way you want. Each form prints the clinic, patient, and insurance information at the top, giving you accurate identification and help with billing. You can insert blank lines, code group or category headings, and footers. Category footers warn providers about special circumstances related to codes, thus reducing rejections, and improving billing workflow.
