We’re able to use our technical and medical expertise to help you find the best options for your practice or clinic and help you maintain top productivity.
MDoffice’s Implementation and Training Department focuses on the following objectives:
- To give our clients a smooth transition from their current systems.
- To help our clients learn the detailed functions of MDoffice.
- To improve our clients’ workflow through our advanced features and functions.
- To allow our clients to own their new systems.
- To enhance implementation with a dedicated project team.
- To help our customers improve efficiency, reduce costs and improve quality.
When a new client joints MDoffice, the Implementation and training team goes to work, providing a structured yet flexible approach to implementation of our software.
The team and the client meet to draw up a detailed project plan listing each step in the implementation timeline. This plan details all responsibilities, including discussion and analysis of clinical and practice management needs. A typical MDoffice plan involves:
- Defining the process of implementation.
- Reviewing the startup guide for the implementation.
- Reviewing user and training manuals
- Reviewing the scope of the project and defining project teams
- Identifying client's perceived barriers to success of the project
- Reviewing current clinical and business workflow
- Defining system goals including workflow requirements
- Interviewing key individuals involved in project
- Identifying and defining interface and claim requirements
- Identifying and defining conversion requirements
- Determining what database client will use for EMR clients
- Reviewing conversion data requirements
- Identifying reporting requirements
- Identifying custom requirements
- Agreeing to time lines for the project
- Performing site evaluations for hardware installation
- Determining hardware placement
- Confirming cabling and internet access requirements
- Identifying and confirming telephone line requirements
- Identifying staging areas
Using detailed plans, status reporting, weekly conference calls, and site visits, MDoffice and the client closely monitor the entire implementation project.
Many of MDoffice's larger clients use a "train-the-trainer" approach. This allows the client to reduce the cost of implementing multiple sites with a large number of end users. You can tailor MDoffice and the end user training to meet your specific practice needs.
During implementation, your practice stays open with minimal disruption. You run on your old system until training is complete and the full installation is tested using converted data, insuring a smooth transition.
Once you "go live," your project manager stays in close contact with ongoing support as well as online interactive troubleshooting. The length of installation depends on the size of the practice, number of workstations and complexity of workflow.
